The Fight

The rumble just ended, Ponyboy and Dally are already on their way to the hospital to see Johnny. I was at home resting after that fight. We won, we defeated the Socs! It went well, no one got hurt, at least not enough to take the risk of dying. We, the gresears went very well, specially my gang, they had a good teacher that is all I have to say. I mean, last summer I went on a martial art course and I learned many punches and kicks that are very useful in these fights, I though them some weeks ago so that they were ready today. I also met with an old friend from high school, he is different, that all I have to say about him. I know that Ponyboy was feeling a little sick before we go, and I was not sure if he should fight, but he wanted to and to say the truth, he was not bad at all.  I was impressed about Dallas, that even with only one arm he went up to fight. Bit now that I am thinking, maybe I should have gone with Ponyboy to give him support if he needs, I believe he will.

In the Hospital

I am just now waiting for Johnny and Dally in the hospital. Ponyboy does not look hurt at all, he as only some burns but nothing serious. By what I was told Dally is not in a critical condition but he has only some burns and he will be fine. There are many reporters here, just asking questions to Ponyboy, I believe he is a little confused and also very tired because of the incident, I hope they go away as soon as possible so that my little brother can have a little nap to calm down his feelings. I am very worried about Johnny, you know, he is just a kid and as far as I know he will be crippled for the rest of his life, if he survives. It was not fair what happened to them, they were helping other, there could be many dead children if it wasn’t them. It is sad how sometimes life is unfair, people who do good things should not suffer like Johnny is now. I am really proud of Ponyboy for doing that. I already knew that he was a good guy, and this just gave me more certainty of my thoughts.

Where is Ponyboy?

Yesterday, Ponyboy and Johnny went to the bar while I was playing football with the other guys, but they did not comeback at night. I was worried and without knowing what should I do. They can’t get in trouble or they’ll go to a boy’s house. Soda told me that Dally was taking care of them and that they were in an abandoned church in the country side. They had to hide because of what Johnny did. The cops might be looking for them and it is better that they are hidden because I do not want to lose one of my brothers, after all, I love him even though sometimes there is a little tension between us. I do not know what the situation was back there, but for Johnny to have to kill someone it had to be pretty bad. I am still very impressed of how did Johnny was able to kill a Soc, first he is too weak and then, I didn’t think he was able to kill someone, not even a Soc. I hope they are doing fine, Dally told Soda that they would only have to stay there for more a couple of days, or even less. Hope they comeback soon.

Late Ponyboy

Ponyboy is very late, he just be home by now. He told me and Soda he would just go to the cinema and would comeback right after the movie. A movie takes maximum 3 hours, and it has already been at least 4, it is already 1 am and he is still out there. He had told me that he would be home by midnight and now I am worried. Usually he is reliable in this things, I trust him to be responsible. I believe that he is not messing around nor that he is drunk, he can get in trouble if he gets drunk, we do things without thinking when we are drunk. I will just wait one more hour, if he does not get home by then, I’ll go to the police. Soda is also very worried, you know, they are very close to each other. Me and Ponyboy, we are not as close as them, but you know, he is in fact my little brother. He was with Johnny, Dally and Two-Bit, I hope they are taking caring of each other. Maybe they are just having a good time and forgot about the time, maybe that’s it, I hope it is.
